In 1914, the U.S. owed foreign investors three billion dollars; however just a short five years later, foreign governments owed the U.S. almost thirteen billion. Because of this, the life for an average American was quite luxurious; many things were much more affordable. This age of prosperity in the United States marked what we know as the roaring twenties; possibly one of the most exciting and different eras of all times. During this era, America went through numerous changes in entertainment, rights, and lifestyle.
